International collaboration

Falsterbo fågelstation has signed a formal friendship agreement between us, New Jersey Audubon's Cape May Bird Observatory (USA), Long Point Bird Observatory (Kanada) och Spurn Bird Observatory (UK). The aim with this agreement is to promote international collaboration to stimulate increased environmental awareness.

Our staff or collaborators and our members will benefit from this by discounts for staying at these collaborating bird observatories with the aim to increase the knowledge about bird migration at the international level. Below you can see the agreement which will be guiding the future work. Together we will express how and why our work is relevant for developing new methodologies for replying to new and pressing questions about birds, their living environment and ultimately, their protection for future generations.
